Today was slow. I can't believe how hot it is getting out side, time to get out of town! Good news though, less then two weeks of school, including finals, remaining.

Today Dorothy asked me how to spell "interrogate" and I didn't know how to. I'm such a bad journalism student. My tooth really hurts becauae I think I have a cavity. :O

Today was actually a very good day!!! Monday

I came in at 12:30 to work for Dorothy today, so the day was a bit longer than usual. Had the pleasure to view a frequent center guest’s campaign DVD, hilarious. Blanche knows who I am talking about, he is the one who interacts with the Wii. Anyways, the DVD is on the front desk so if you are bored and in search of entertainment there is your ticket.

Saturday

So it was a pretty slow day overall. I was able to get some homework done thanks to the lull. If anyone is interested in working next Saturday I would appreciate it since I will be out of town.

it's hott in hurr

So it's like back to being 80 degrees and miserable in here. NO ONE TOUCH THE THERMOSTAT because some dumbo touched it and broke it..way to go. I'm surprised it wasn't me for once. Anyway, I just have one more class and my weekend begins...yay!!! :)

So much to do

So today I walked into the student center and everyone was having a secret party without me. But it's ok, I'm used to not being included :'( jkjk
Anyway....can anyone work for me 4-10pm on Friday 23rd ? because I already have tickets for a baseball game.

I'm covering Jack's shift today and I don't know how Jack does it, but working on Saturday is kinda boring. Oh well. No one really came into the student center except for two people to use the ATM. I got a lot of homework done today though. I hope everyone is having a nice weekend! bye! :)

I don't usually work Friday but Blanche was nice enough to trade hours with me so I could go to a baseball game on Saturday, thanks Blanche. In other news I was able to experience for the first time in awhile the inherently worthless and usually chatty security guard. This fellow was quieter then most but I believe he would been inept at protecting me against an intruder, just saying.

School needs to end

I'm tired and cold. And today sucked. That's about it. :)

Sun shiny day

Like Jack said it has been pretty nice outside lately which makes me happy!!!! I only have like 4 weeks to get 2 C's up in my classes or I am screwed. :'(

Drop-in Resume Critiques
Peer advisors** see students on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 30 minutes for resume critiques. Peer Advisors are undergraduate students who have been trained in the basic fundamentals of resume writing. Peer Advisors will review formatting and share current resume writing trends during your critique.
Monday: 9 - 11 a.m. and 12 - 4:30 p.m.**

Finally

I actually had people show up today! The attendance thing wasn't working though. It kept saying An error has occurred in the USI Event Management Tool. Please contact your administrator. I didn't know what to do about the problem so I just let the 4 individuals through. I hope that was okay. Also, they checked out the billards, so I had my first check out, and I was proud of myself because I remembered where the billards was located and which key to use :)

Update your resume with the feedback you received from her.

Bring a copy of your updated resume to Christina, Candi or Amanda and discuss other skills you would like to develop.

You will received 1 paid hour to complete this, please remember to log that hour.
This is due by April 30th at 5:00p.m.
If you have intentions of returning next year to work, this has be completed in order to be considered.
